"Bridging the gap between projects and professionals"
In partnership with the American Planning Association of NJ, the Center for Community Planning created and coordinates the Community Planning Assistance Program (CPAP). This unique program connects community based organizations that are looking to create plans for their neighborhoods to volunteer professional planners. The goal of the program is to provide free guidance and support from licensed professionals that will ultimately enhance and advance the proposed projects of the community based organizations. The Community Planning Assistance Program has successfully facilitated over 20 community driven planning partnerships between non profits and city planners in NJ.
